How do you photograph weddings?

Where are you based and do you take on commissions?

I'm based in Ilkley, Yorkshire but as you will see in my galleries I love to travel. I also take on commissions for landscape and venue photography across the country so get in touch for details of the types of work i undertake and for pricing.

When will we get our photos?

I print all my own images with a Cannon Pro 300 printer which offers amazing print quality when combined with my Fotospeed professional print papers. I can print up to A3 and these prints can be despatched within a couple of days. Bespoke orders above A3 will require specialist printing and could take up to a week-ten days to arrive.

Do you deliver photography training

Yes, for several years now I have been teaching clients in groups and on a 1-2-1 basis photography composition and camera skills. These courses are ideal for beginners and for people looking to advance their photography skills. These are delivered in locations across Yorkshire. My husband and I attended a beginners composition photography session with Tony in May 2021, location: Ilkey woods. A small group of us, great fun! Tony broke down the challenges of woodland photography with examples, shot set up ideas/support and feedback/tips/tricks as we went along. It was a really creative and inspiring experience, and so interesting to see how each individual puts their own spin onto an image. Loved it! Highly recommended!

I went on one of Tony's Workshops at The Cow and Calf Rocks in Ilkley. Tony had sent out some excellent pre course material it was packed with lots of information and tips about how to take a great photograph. I felt well prepared for the workshop before I got there. Tony has a lovely, easy going teaching style and gave all of the 5 delegates as much time as we needed. He knows his subject inside out and his passion came across very well. The aim of the course was to teach us to compose great landscape photographs. The course certainly delivered that and I was really happy with my results. I will be on the lookout for Tony's future workshops.

I wanted a really special gift for my partner who is a keen cyclist. He has been riding the hill up to the Cow and Calf so a photograph of this was an obvious choice. As soon as I saw Tony's photograph I knew that this was the one; it captured the beauty of our local landscape in a wonderful light.
